new adventures...

With so long in between posts, there is so much I have been up to and had on my mind!

I have mostly been focusing on my new apartment and getting it cozy, step by step... Found some random (and rather inexpensive) furniture online, I loved the rustic look. They are so much bigger than I had thought, but still pretty fun...

Now I am searching for some colorful art for the walls. I knew I wanted to incorporate a few vintage travel posters and just ordered these:

And planning this little project on my spice rack:

Lastly, thinking about what to do with my hair... I have been letting it grow out for awhile and am considering something like...

Looks like it grows out nicely, perfect since I can be a  little lazy with my hair...

Of course, all this has to be put on hold since I just found out I am going to Germany on Saturday for work!

london...

Finally, got around to picking out a few of my favorite photos from my trip to London :)

First adventure was to Greenwich

Standing on the Prime Meridian
Looking from the Royal Observatory over Greenwich and Canary Wharf
Wandered the Tower of London
Tower Bridge at dusk
A trip to the British Museum
It's amazing to have all this history and free admission!
Love the red phone booths
Temple Church
Heading to St. Paul's
Walking across the Thames at night
Loving the British pubs, at The Mug House under the London Bridge
London loves Christmas
As do I!
Phone booths AND Christmas :)
Loving the history....
Nighttime is incredible!
Misty morning boat ride on the Thames
So cool
Went under the Tower Bridge
Tower of London
Entry to the Traitors Gate
HMS Belfast
Houses of Parliament
Red buses everywhere :)
Bubbles!
My first mulled wine at a German Christmas market
Couldn't wait for the Natural History Museum
Dinosaurs!
Too much for one photo
More phone booths
Buckingham Palace, of course!
Victoria Memorial
Westminster Abby
Ton's of red buses, but this one is an original!
Visiting Trafalgar Square
Spot anything?
Union Jack umbrellas in front of ElizabethTower (now that I know Big Ben is the bell !) , with a phone booth and an original  red bus... so excited for this photo!
The London Eye
A true old english pub on the banks of the Thames, called The Grapes and owned by Sir Ian McKellan. Had a pint and chips with gravy, yum!
Off to Brighton for the day
Real fish and chips, with mushy peas :)
Bundled up in front of the Pier
Still incredible through the not so lovely weather
Covent Garden was so festive I went twice!
Live Musicians to enjoy while strolling
Cool little place for a snack before an improv musical
More festivities!

A visit to the Science Museum
So many incredible things to see!
Decided for a quick stop in the V & A
Certainly didn't regret that choice, a stunning museum!
Cannot believe this is free to all...
A stop into Harrod's
Cool barrels
Happened across Greyfriars, Church ruins now a public garden
Getting a little lost in London proved to be fantastic. I wandered into Saint Bartholomew the Great, one of the oldest churches in London. If it looks familiar, it's because it has been used in so many movies... Up next, the Muppets! I had to drag myself away...
But not without a peek in the cloister!
Followed the London Wall
I loved the public markets in London, wish we had them here... This is Spitalfields
Safe to say, by this point, I was head over heels for London
Back to Greenwich to fully explore the shops and the Greenwich Market
Christmas Lights on Oxford Street
Every street and building...
Regent Street
More lights!
Liberty of London
Paddington at Hamley's
Royal Wedding made of Lego's!
Would be incomplete without the Queen!
and her guards :)
What my London colleagues get to see every day!
The Lion King at the Lyceum, complete with British accents :p
And one more tree!
I wish I could have put all 700 photos, so many wonderful memories! What an amazing trip :)
