three things...
my favorite five... posts seem to have become five things I see browsing around; quotes, inspiration, things I might like to have. Decided I would start another theme on things I have that I really love. Part of this comes as I am trying to simplify, to whittle down my belongings to fewer things, to ones that I really love, use or that have a special meaning.
I am always looking for a simple, light moisturizer that works. I think I found it with First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer. I also have the Ultra Repair Hydra-firm Sleeping Cream, which works great! I can't wait to try some of their other stuff!

weddings...
I have been blessed with friends who trust and believe in me enough to make something special for their big day :)
Danielle - A beautiful, outdoor wedding on a mountain-top in Colorado. Materials: Grey agate with a faceted, blue dumortierite accent, finished with a silver silk ribbon tie closure. The finishing touch was a sterling disc, hand stamped with the wedding date.
Lindsay - A formal wedding in Boston. Materials: Dangling mass of different size and shape smoky quartz, carnelian and citrine briolettes, with an occasional bronze pearl on 14kt gold chain and a stamped golden disc with the wedding date. My favorite part was making a slightly different version for the maid-of-honor, instead of dangling, this mass was positioned horizontally with two long chains to drop down her back with a few briolettes at the end.
Elizma - An elegant wedding just outside of Boston. Materials: Varied sizes of carnelian briolettes on 14kt gold wire and chain. For this one, I also made tiny pearl bracelets with a giant glass rhinestone in the center.
